We Were At ASEP International Convention, Manila 2019

The Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines, ASEP drew big crowds at its annual event with over a thousand civil and structural engineers in attendance to discuss the growing issue of infrastructure resilience with the event theme of “Structural Engineering For Infrastructure Resilience” this May 30-June 1, 2019 at Quezon City, Manila, Philippines.

Prota’s very own Mustafa Tan, ProtaStructure’s Product Manager, presented to the delegates a technical paper on Seismic Isolation Systems and Technologies which explored approaches to the seismic retrofit of Basibuyuk Hospital in Istanbul, one of the largest buildings in the world to undergo post-construction retrofitting with over 850 isolators installed to upgrade the existing buildings over a 3 year construction period.

The convention was a great success and showcased the brand new ProtaStructure and its latest features at the crowed Prota Asia booth located in the main area of the event. We were very humbled by the number of visitors and their great interest in our technologies.
