Prota Celebrates Its 35th Anniversary With a Special Academic Project

Achieving phenomenal success in the construction landscape throughout the years, Prota is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year with a special academic project called 35th Anniversary “Prota-University Collaboration”. The project covers a series of events where Prota engineers and architects will visit universities to share their extensive knowledge and experience with students around the country. This year’s event series will be built on BIM technology.

We created this academic project for two purposes: to increase BIM awareness among future engineers and architects of our country and to prepare them for the adoption of this technology. At Prota, we have been using BIM approaches on our consultancy projects for many years and were the first company in Turkey to design an entire metro project utilizing BIM technology. Now we deliver almost all our projects using BIM. We wanted to share this experience with our students around the country so they can see the real value this technology brings.

Within the scope of the project, Prota’s engineers and architects will share their extensive knowledge and experience in universities with inspiring presentations on “Being a Structural Engineer & Architect”, “Digital Transformation in the Construction Sector”, “BIM and Beyond” and “Prota’s BIM Approach”.

Our first stop was Kayseri. On 20th and 21st of February, we met with the students of Structural Engineering and Architecture Faculties of Erciyes University and Abdullah Gul University. Throughout the year, 20 other universities will be visited as part of “Prota-University Collaboration” project.
